Our Horses

Annie is a 24 year old Quarter horse mare. Annie has been in the lesson program for over 6 years. She has given lessons to the very first time rider to the most advanced in hunters and dressage. When the student is ready, the time to shine, will be at a schooling show. Annie has won several ribbons and Championships with many of our students. She is “the one” to learn how to canter on. She is smooth, steady, and safe

KJ Amethyst (aka, AMY) is a 21-year old registered Arabian mare. She has won many ribbons at Class A Arabian breed shows in Hunter Pleasure as well as many English classes in different schooling shows with multiple riders. Amy also has completed over 200 miles of endurance with different riders. She has traversed the high country of Yosemite and been to the beach of Pt Reyes. She has taught many children and adults to ride. Amy also has competed in harness, pulling both a road cart and a marathon vehicle. She has finished in the top three out of large classes in multiple Combined Driving Events, and was the Motherlode Fair Circut Reserve Champion Driving Horse.

Khaya is a 19-year old Arab mare. In the past she was shown very successfully in the Arab world as Hunter Pleasure horse. She loves to canter, yet she is very quiet and safe. She still goes out to shows with our students and helps them win ribbons.
